Ruth Freitas graduated Curtin University with a BA in Creative Writing in 2025. 

She has had articles and book reviews published in Good Reading Magazine and has written the fantasy novel The Last Daughter of Elysia which has been featured across Wattpad and made their Editor's Choice List. Ruth has also been shortlisted for the Watty Awards in 2021 and 2022 for an earlier draft of The Last Daughter of Elysia. 

The first two books of The Elysian Trilogy are now available on Wattpad.
